Answer first
Feistritzer Heating & Air Conditioning provides ac installation in Danville, KY and across Danville, Harrodsburg, Stanford, Lancaster, and Junction City, KY — full-system diagnostics, brand-agnostic equipment guidance, and a repair-first recommendation on every call. We diagnose the whole system, explain the options clearly, and recommend the solution we would choose for our own home — by load, comfort, and lifecycle, not by logo.
When should I replace my air conditioner?
When repair stops being responsible — stacked failures, unsafe equipment, or a system that can no longer meet comfort and efficiency goals. Whether you're replacing or building new, we never try to sell you anything you don't need.
When replacement earns it, we recommend equipment consultatively — by load calculation, comfort goals, humidity control, reliability, warranty, and lifecycle value — not by logo. Installations are backed by a full manufacturer warranty and our 100% satisfaction guarantee.
Why does AC sizing matter so much?
Our Service Technicians run load calculations before every AC installation. The biggest factor in customer satisfaction is whether the unit is the correct size for the space. A small unit runs constantly and can't keep up on the hottest days — it loses energy efficiency and parts fail early.
An over-sized unit is just as bad. It costs more, yet it won't run long enough to dehumidify the air, leaving the house uncomfortably humid, and short cycling causes extra wear and tear on the system.
What happens after an AC installation?
We're not done when the install finishes. We follow up to make sure everything's working as it should. The best thing you can do for your new system is stay on top of preventive maintenance — we follow a thorough checklist and let you know if we find anything that needs attention.
